Spanish for Children/Teenagers
Our Spanish Learning Program for Children (Ages 4 to 17) is tailored to fit the different learning stages
- Program CHIQUITITOS (ages 4 to 6): In this phase, we use games and activities to help children adapt to the new language. We encourage a connection with their mother tongue and Spanish, recognizing objects from their daily lives. Here, toddlers process information through experience and emotion, focusing on their skills and early expression.
- CHICOS ESPAÑOL / Picasso Project (7-9 and 10-12 years): Children assimilate and produce more. Through games and crafts, they explore artistic elements such as cubism and magical realism. They also learn about historical figures and geography, including artists like Picasso and cultures like the Incas. As our program progresses, children develop a natural intuition for the new language.
CHICOS Stages 11 and 12 years: Here, children are ready to use textbooks and learn the language in an organized manner, fostering autonomy and forming their own conclusions.
CHICOS Stages 13 to 17 years: Teenagers follow a structured system and can handle textbooks and follow instructions, preparing them for a more formal language learning approach.
The students will experience:
- Cultural Immersion: Through connection with Hispanic American culture, students develop a deeper understanding of the language.
- Interactive Learning: Constant interaction, immersion, and hands-on activities make learning engaging and effective.
- Focus on Art and History: Integrating artistic elements and historical contexts enriches students’ understanding and interest.
- Adaptation to Developmental Stages: Our program adjusts to the cognitive and emotional needs of each age group.
- Promotion of Autonomy: We encourage students to draw their own conclusions, strengthening their ability for self-directed learning.
